Four-Part Educational Documentary

This four-part educational documentary short explains how Americans with disabilities changed a presidential memorial to show the world what real leadership looks like. The series outlines the fight for the wheelchair statue at the FDR Memorial in Washington, DC, and is dedicated to the disabled advocates and allies who fought for disability rights and representation. It is specifically created to educate both middle school and high school youth.

This project has been funded by the National Trust for Historic Preservation's Telling the Full History Preservation Fund, with support from the National Endowment for the Humanities.
